Privacy policy

Dropped Kerb Guide doesn't collect personal data. There are no forms, no accounts and no newsletter. We don't set cookies, and we don't use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.

What the site does and doesn't do

• No forms. You can't send us your name, email address or any other details through the site.
• No cookies. The site doesn't set any cookies, so there's no cookie banner.
• No analytics or tracking. We don't use Google Analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, advertising pixels or any similar tools.
• Tools run in your browser. The cost calculator and the eligibility checker work entirely on your device. Your answers aren't sent to us or anyone else.

Third parties the site uses

• Cloudflare (hosting). The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don't receive or keep visitor logs.
• postcodes.io (postcode lookup). If you type a postcode into the council map or finder, your browser sends that postcode directly to postcodes.io, an open-source postcode lookup service, to find which council covers it. postcodes.io will see your IP address and the postcode you searched. The postcode isn't sent to us and we don't store it. If you'd rather not use it, click your area on the map or use the A to Z list instead.

The council map itself is drawn from boundary data hosted on this site. It doesn't load map tiles or any other content from third-party map providers. Links to council and government websites take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Changes

If the site ever starts collecting personal data, we'll update this page before that happens and show the date at the top.
